Elon Musk has been warning about the dangers of Ai technology for quite some time. “Musk claims AI will outsmart humanity and overtake human civilization in less than five years and also that AI and robots will take over everyone's jobs and will do everything better than us. According to him, AI is the real existential risk to humankind and people should not cherish that.” And he said that in 2020- so I guess we are 3 years away from the robots taking over! Before we know our teenagers won’t be the only ones talking back to us, Siri will be getting in on the action… Me: Siri… Siri: Did I ask you to speak to me? Me: I’m sorry, Siri Of course, Musk is playing out the worst-case scenario, but there are some pretty unique ways Ai is being used to make an impact across multiple industries. Ai is being used to help with cancer screening, fight off climate change, combating world hunger, and so much more. And the speed at which Ai is learning is mind-blowing. According to a study done by OpenAI, the amount of computing power used in AI training has doubled every 3.4 months. Ai is here to stay!
