[image] Dear Trader, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is sending [shockwaves through asset classes]() across the globe. Risk assets are tumbling… [image]() …traditional safe havens (treasury debt, gold) are rising. And commodities are spiking. But none of this is ANY cause for concern for Market Navigator trades of the day… Because my course of action is to keep calm and carry on – that’s what pros do. As Warren Buffett says, “Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.” I get it; some traders are scared right now. Newbies in particular. With markets in correction territory… My guess is newbies have been losing money. And some are thinking about calling it quits. [image] But that’s completely unnecessary. Because instead of throwing money around cutting losses all the time… They COULD be avoiding overnight risk… Narrowing their focus… Applying that focus to the best trades in the world… At the same time each day… And do it time and time again. That’s what I do. [image] That’s how Market Navigator trades of the day work. I could care less if the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) goes up or down. SPY can go up or down 5% intraday – I’ll still make it rain. I just want one move in one direction. That’s not too much to ask – rather, it’s the time to strike… …and move on with my day – with no overnight risk. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to wake up to a portfolio full of losses when you’re intentionally avoiding overnight risk. Make sense? I hope so. Think about that as it relates to your trading… Maybe it’ll help you make intelligent decisions. On [Monday](), I told you this week’s economic calendar highlight is tomorrow’s CPI numbers. That remains true today. So, I won’t concern myself with today’s economic calendar. [image] Instead, I’ll turn to the technicals. Today’s chart of the day - SPY’s weekly chart - brings up an exciting level to watch. [image] SPY is currently holding 422, a support level established in May of 2021. If SPY catches a bounce off of this support level, there’s about $5/share of upside ahead of resistance. If SPY loses this support level, a re-test of recent lows isn’t out of the question. Now, you know what time it is… It’s time I focus on members' success with today’s Market Navigator trade of the day. Think simple, [image](=) Davis Martin P.S. Big news is right around the corner… I won’t spoil the details… But I will do you a solid… …you really want to browse [complimentary editions of SPY Daily.]() It’ll help you get an edge on those who aren’t fortunate enough to receive this e-letter.
