The company took to Twitter to announce that EVERYONE who used Uniswap before September 2020 would be airdropped 400 UNI! …..The only thing these users had to do was claim their tokens. Now if you aren’t well versed in crypto, Airdrops might still seem strange to you. But they happen AND more often than you would think. Our digital assets expert Jake McCarthy wants to make sure we know about it because folks it's essentially free crypto. Dropped often with little to no warning at all for simply interacting with a website! But bear in mind it is also taxable money…. Old Uncle Sam is going to make sure he gets his. Now, what makes Airdrops so tasty, other than the obvious, is that it also gives an edge. People like free and when they catch wind of an Airdrop often they will flock to tick off the boxes so they meet the requirements to receive their treat. …and sometimes this requirement is to own a specific token in order to receive this airdrop.
