Hey Coin Command! Jake McCarthy here, with a [THANK YOU GIFT]( for being part of my services. Enjoy my take on “Why Paypal is the Worst Place To Buy Crypto”! Let's dive straight into it NASDAQ, DOW JONES, S&P 500, all red. Where's Ethereum (ETH)? Ripping. It's right below it’s all-time high of $4,891. All while stocks have been red across the board. In this first edition I want to highlight the importance of the $542b digital asset, ETH. Where digital assets are going, and why YOU should pay attention. What’s Happening In ETH The ethereum network is growing faster than ever before. Below is a chart showing the amount of ETH addresses in existence, each address can roughly be translated to new users within the ETH ecosystem. Some of you may be asking, “Jake, what even is ETH”? [To be short ETH is programmable money](. Imagine if you needed to pay a digital “gas fee” to google something, make a trade, or order some present off of Amazon. That's what ETH is, the currency, the gas, and the platform of the new internet. Web 3. More technically, [it’s the ethereum virtual machine](. An open source internet software that any developer can contribute to. [ETH is one of the most important digital assets that there is, and ever will be](. It was the first to utilize cryptography, blockchain consensus, and smart contracts. Giving ETH the first mover advantage, much like Microsoft and the personal computer (PC). [The market cap alone is 4x higher than the 3rd place digital asset, BNB](. Making ETH a giant in this ecosystem. Everything builds on top of it, and everything within its decentralized ecosystem needs ETH to operate. For example: - Want to [mint an NFT](? You need ETH. - Want to earn [12% apy on a stable coin like USDC](? You need Eth. - Want to participate in [AAA blockchain based games](? You need Eth. Thousands of decentralized applications (dapps) are built on top of ETH, making it a necessity for the blockchain ecosystem to function. Without ETH, there would be no NFT’s, no decentralized lending and borrowing services, and half the digital assets would cease to exist immediately. Ethereum is the leader of smart contract protocols (or Layer 1’s as I call them). It’s not the fastest, but It’s the first to market and a recognizable name that has dominated this space since its release in 2013. ETH has paved the way for innovation in the digital asset ecosystem, it is the first mover, and deserves its advantages. Why is ETH Ripping While Stocks Are Tanking? I could speculate all day, but that’s not what this digital asset is about. Don’t let people tell you otherwise. There is a TON of open source, ultra secure, and unchangeable data to back up these market moves. That's really what separates digital assets from traditional finance; immutable, verifiable, and open source information. So, why is ETH ripping while stocks tank? Well there's a number of reasons. First, the market is maturing. Along with the expansion of the ETH ecosystem, more and more projects are choosing to develop on the ethereum network. This makes ETH more necessary than ever before for people to use the services that come with digital assets. Second, ETH is getting the biggest upgrade it has ever seen in the next few months. The issuance of new “ETH” is going to drop like a brick. Decreasing the supply drastically, while increasing the demand. Lastly, we’re simply in a bull market for digital assets. [The Bitcoin halvening]( has sent a supply shock throughout the ecosystem. Bringing almost everything along with it. Final Thoughts We’re changing to a new economy, from trust to truth. While one goes down, the new one will rise like a phoenix. Don’t just take my word for it, honestly don’t. Please do your own research (DYOR). [Here's a list of articles]( from the World Economic Forum telling you directly that major businesses everywhere will utilize and NEED blockchain protocols to succeed in this new economy. Want to get lost in a rabbit hole? Read those articles. My ducks are in a row for a new economy. All backed by blockchain, based on mathematical truth, instead of artificial trust.
