Hi Undefined, Jeff Bishop here. Let’s talk about universities… For many college students this year, the traditional campus experience has crumpled like a solo cup dropped and crushed at a fraternity party. For some, their college of choice is closing its hallowed doors for good. Professor Robert Zemsky at the University of Pennsylvania estimates that more than 200 private liberal-arts colleges could close in the next year alone. And Harvard Business School’s Clayton Christensen projects that by 2030, between 30% to 50% of private colleges will close or merge with another school. After so many colleges shut their doors, what will the future of education look like? As usual… in technology I trust. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… For every problem we face, technology will rise to the occasion. With colleges failing, I believe the tech solution is online learning. Even when we curtail this virus - and I have no doubt we will in the coming months, the sustainability of the traditional campus university education is in doubt. I’ve written about student debt that’s crippling our young people… while competition with other institutions has been driving universities into debt for decades. Digital learning allows for flexibility and convenience. More importantly, it dramatically reduces costs. For universities, fewer campus activities, food halls, and dorms… for students, the astronomical costs of living on campus is only the beginning. And digital learning carries other benefits... A report from Deloitte I read recently pointed out that a data-driven approach allows for easy analysis. This will help universities cut programs that aren’t as useful - or lucrative… and see clearly where their students are underserved. Another aspect is that the very convenience of online classes may attract more adult learners. And finally, the report reads… “when students head back to campus and institutions try to revert to historic pricing models, many parents, students, and legislators may ask whether the on-campus experience is worth the difference in cost.” I’ve been wondering the same thing. It led me to extensive research, and the search for a company with the technology to provide the solution. And I believe I’ve found it… The one tiny tech stock that will be at the heart of the massive shift in university education. And I’m just about to add it to my Family Portfolio. I’ve compiled a full report on the situation facing universities… and the company that I believe will be a part of the solution. It’s called “[The End of College: How This Tech Stock Will Revolutionize University Education And Unlock Trillions In Value](.” It’s free to members of my Portfolio Creator service.
