[RagingBull Elite]( Dear undefined— Jeff Bishop here, The market has officially had time to digest the results of the 2020 elections, which point to a democratic president and a republican senate. As traders, it’s time to start looking forward. Which is why we’ll be looking this week at catalysts. A catalyst is an event— anything from an earnings release to a news report or new piece of legislation— and with the government now transitioning, there will be plenty of them. In today’s issue of All-Access, we’ll share 3 stock catalysts on our radar, each from one of the strongest sectors in the market now. [Alternate text]( [I'm an image] In yesterday’s letter, we highlighted three leading industry groups in the market. Semiconductors, Chinese names, and alternative energy stocks are among the strongest names in S&P500 and Nasdaq Composite. While most of our focus this week will be on stocks with catalysts and high relative volume, we always want to prepare in advance by finding the best looking charts in the strongest sectors. Today we will give you three best looking setups— one from each of the leading industry groups: QRVO - Qorvo Inc - Qorvo Inc manufactures high performance integrated circuits for the communications markets. The Company's products are used for wireless communications applications such as cellular and PCS, cordless telephony, wireless LANs, industrial radios, wireless security etc. - The company reported strong earnings on 11/04/2020. The results were $2.43 adj. EPS on $1.06B revenues vs $2.125 on $1.006B consensus. Shares rallied to the highs of $152.37 the next day - The stock has been upgraded by multiple analysts with the highest price target of $200 from Needham & Co - QRVO is a great way to play semiconductors long with the tailwind from strong earnings and bullish outlook Here’s a plan for a potential trade in QRVO: - Buy Zone: $146 - $147 - Profit Zone: $157 for half, $170 for the rest - Stop Zone: $143 [Alternate text] ZTO - ZTO Express Inc - ZTO Express Inc is an express delivery company. The Company provides express delivery service through their nationwide network, as well as other value-added logistics services. ZTO Express serves customers globally. - The company is estimated to report earnings on 11/18/2020. Wall Street is expecting upbeat numbers on rising parcel volume due to growth of e-commerce during the lockdown - The stock has broken out of its 4 months long downtrend and is now offering a great opportunity for a long entry - ZTO is a favorable risk-to-reward play of the continued momentum of China stocks with the tailwind of e-commerce growth during lockdown Here’s a plan for a potential trade in ZTO: - Buy Zone: $32 - Profit Zone: $36 for half, $39 for the rest - Stop Zone: $30 [Alternate text] BEEM - BEAM Global - Beam Global focuses on solar systems manufacturing and integration. It also designs and deploys clean energy systems for electric vehicle charging, energy security, and outdoor media. The company is scheduled to report earnings on 11/12/2020. - The market capitalization of the company is $124m which is significantly lower than other industry players. While this alone is not a good reason for it to go up, usually small cap companies in strong sectors get attract investors’ attention - BEEM has an explosive mix of low float (5.8M shares) and high short interest (17.6%). A positive headline could light it up. - While this play is higher risk than your typical solar play, it has a higher reward potential as well: if the stock manages to break above all time highs of $21.45, it could double within weeks Here’s a plan for a potential trade in BEEM: - Buy Zone: $18.5 for starter and add above $20 - Profit Zone: $21.45 for half, let the rest ride - Stop Zone: $16.9 [Alternate text] [Alternate text] Before Kyle Dennis crossed $10M in trading profits, he blew almost half his initial $15K because he was throwing down random.* He still remembers the night he was staring up at his bedroom ceiling, wondering if he should call it quits. What turned it around for him? Combining Technicals and Catalysts To Develop an Edge Kyle realized placing bets on the price action alone wouldn’t get him to the next level. Even for experienced traders, charting is an art and nothing is perfect. The market can be very difficult to judge. But when we add a fundamental reason, we can increase the chance of having a profitable trade. The fundamental reason behind catalysts is [market moving data events](. So how can traders get in on the action? [By Playing the Runup.]( Stocks tend to move up before the event, not after. Why? Because traders do research, they know when these events are going to happen, and they want to place their bets. They want to go in and bet the company will have either good data or bad data, and they either get long or short depending on their opinion.
