[The beef 675] [I'm an image] “Charlie Munger sure thinks so...” - Jeff Hey there carnivores, So let me get this straight… the Oracle of Omaha is sitting on $128 billion in cash (fun fact: that's almost $40 billion MORE than Starbucks market cap) and his right-hand man, Charlie Munger, is throwing around words like “safe” and “liquidity?” You might remember that during the 2008 financial crisis Daddy Warbuffs was a big swingin’ d*ck. He bailed out Goldman and GE (ok, you can’t win ‘em all) and plowed his cash into the tired, the poor… the huddled masses yearning to breathe. And he profited handsomely. So what’s happening this time around? Has Warren lost the fire in his belly? Is he adhering to government-mandated self-quarantine for men of a certain age? Or has he just decided to mainline DQ and Coca-Cola at his modest Omaha bachelor pad for a minute? Well, it’s probably none of the above. His notable absence likely has more to do with Buffett strictly adhering to his value investing playbook (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I guess). Apparently things still aren’t cheap enough...
