The Best Sales to Shop Online This Weekend
Though the holiday is still over a week away, Motherâs Day sales are here. Obviously this comes in handy if your love is bigger than your budget â and you just cannot do the [Hallmark-grade gift]( another year in a row â but letâs be real, theyâre a good excuse to treat yourself, too.
This weekend, youâll find the best deals in a mix of holiday-specific sales (from mom-approved and -appropriate brands like Kate Spade and Michael Kors) and some higher-end deals, including one that's just for Racked readers. So read on to get something for the both of you. â[Tanisha Pina](, associate market editor

[La]([Garçonne](: We teamed up with one of our favorite indie e-comm sites to bring Racked readers an extra 20% off all sale items (!) with code RACKED20LG. There are a lot of really cute, really fashion things to pick from here, including a bunch of [Comme des Garçons]( under $200 (and even [some under $100](). This Proenza Schouler [dress]( is $166, these [Old Skool Vans]( are $34, and this Vetements [T-shirt]( is $548. (What? Itâs better than $980!)
[Rhode Resort](: Going on a fancy vacation any time soon? A beachside wedding? Or do you just like to look like you could be doing either of those things at any given moment? Through Sunday, Rhode Resort is offering 25% off select styles that have your back, including these really fun [silk tassel pants]( that are discounted to $220.
[Coach](: Coach is running two sales this weekend, and theyâre both really good. First, you can take 50% off new spring markdowns on the site; that means dozens of [shoes]( and [accessories]( under $100, collection [skirts]( and [tops]( under $250, and some nearly-$1,000 [faux fur jackets]( marked down to $497. The brand is also running a Motherâs Day-exclusive sale throughout the weekend, offering 30% off full-priced items â [wallets]( under $100, [bags]( as low as $101.50 â with code Mom17.
[Neiman Marcus](: Friends and Family seasons is still going strong, and weâre not complaining. This weekend, the department store giant is offering 25% off select regular-priced items and up to 40% new spring markdowns with code NMFRIEND. My suggestion is to beeline to the tops, where youâll find tons of great weekday-through-weekend options from brands like [Joie](, [Jason Wu](, and [3x1](, and the [shoes](, since tons are under $150.
[Theory](: Theory is hosting a very low-key 72-hour flash sale with items up to 70% off, so hop to it! Everything is current-season, and surprisingly, most styles are still in stock. Expect items like this very cute wear-everywhere [crepe slip dress]( that has been marked down to $129 (from $345) and this fun striped [merino crewneck](, now just $79 (from $245). There are also a handful of lightweight in-between-seasons [jackets]( under $150.
[Kate Spade](: This sale is fun because not only do you get to take 20% off full-priced [clothing](, [shoes](, and [accessories]( (plus free shipping) with code MDAY17, but you can also score the same deal with the brandâs [home collection](. (What says Motherâs Day more than a picture of you in a [cute frame]( you got for under $50?)
[Michael Kors](: Through Motherâs Day, Michael Kors is hosting a 25% off sale on select styles online only. Thereâs a good chance your mom already loves Michael Kors, and if not, she will after you gift her something like this cotton [A-line dress]( (marked-down to $131.25), these [slip-on sneakers]( ($82.50), or this chain [leather tote]( ($246).

[I Love Jumpsuits But I Also Always Have to Pee](
[Girl in a jumpsuit](
I own, at last count, six jumpsuits, three rompers, five leotards, two pairs of overalls, and what can only be described as a slutty snap-crotch henley. I love a one-piece! Theyâre so easy to put on! They minimize bumps and lines and underwear choices, and they provide an instant Outfit. (I should also mention, since this is the most perennially heated topic at Racked dot com, that I am [thong-agnostic](.)
The one thing they do not make easier? [Going to the bathroom](. Which is something I do with a frequency I have, at times, considered medically alarming, but is really just the bodyâs natural response to being small and routinely flooded with Peach-Pear La Croix and Miller High Life. Iâm constantly looking for the nearest exit, calculating subway distance versus bladder fullness, sweet-talking my way into the bathrooms of bars and hotels I have no intention of ever patronizing. I would estimate that I spend a solid 8 percent of my waking hours figuring out when and where I am next going to pee.
And so my love for a garment that is essentially a personal seawall requires some compromise. Iâve had to master the awkward-but-effective push-aside method while wearing a bodysuit, or else get comfortable with stripping down almost entirely in my place of employment. (The very business, coincidentally, that is publishing this wildly TMI screed.) Iâve had to calculate unbuttoning times down to the millisecond, and Iâve felt the singular helplessness that is realizing the strap of your overalls has dangled into the (hopefully unused, if thereâs any such thing as justice) toilet.
But I put up with these indignities because my jumpsuits are worth it. I donât want to kowtow to the limitations of my earthly vessel; I want to festoon it [however I see fit](. We humans, I have heard, contain multitudes, and my particular multitudes are that I love a backless one-piece and that I also have to pee, right now, immediately. â[Alanna Okun](, senior editor

[This Weird and Lovely French Beauty Brand Is Finally Available in the US](
[Eau Superfine Beauty Essence ($57)](
Even if people donât always admit it, packaging and marketing play a big part in [how we buy beauty products](. By this measure, [Buly 1803](, a brand from France that originated in the 19th century but was revived a few years ago, is going to sell a lot of stuff.
Buly 1803 offers fragrances, creams, home scents (including [scented rocks]( â yes, [really](), and that [fancy toothpaste]( I told you about a few weeks ago. Its products are packaged in ceramic, glass, and aluminum tubes with metal lids and decorated with watercolor illustrations, evoking a bygone era of pompadours and smelling salts. There is no plastic to be found. And forget about minimalism and millennial pink â this brand is over-the-top in the best possible way. Several of the products include ancient âhealingâ waters from France.
Aside from the obvious appeal for those with a certain aesthetic, itâs the most no-brainer [Motherâs Day gift]( Iâve seen in years. If you can get yourself to a shop, you can have somone personalize your gift with calligraphy, but if not, order online and itâs still pretty special. Here are four things your mom will surely not get from any of your unimaginative siblings.
