Available in 4-bay, 8-bay and 12-bay models, the [TS-x53DU]( series has two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports to enable smoother multimedia playback and everyday usage. The TS-x53DU series also supports Snapshot backup and HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) for local, offsite and cloud backup. The TS-x53DU series are powered by Intel® Celeron® J4125 quad-core 2.0 GHz processors (burst up to 2.7 GHz) and support up to 8 GB DDR4 memory. With Intel® AES-NI encryption and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, the TS-x53DU provides users with fast and secure storage. The PCIe 2.0slot allows users to enhance core NAS functionality by installing a compatible PCIe card (such as a network card, a QM2 network/storage card for adding SSD caching/10GbE connectivity). The TS-x53DU series also represents QNAP’s commitment to Multi-Gigabit Ethernet, and can be paired with other budget-friendly QNAP solutions including managed/unmanaged switches and network adapters. Businesses and organizations can immediately benefit from the various applications of the TS-x53DU. Hyper Data Protector can backup unlimited VMware® and Hyper-V environments, HybridMount and VJBOD Cloud provide cloud storage gateways that integrate private and public cloud storage and enable local caching, and HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) realizes efficient local/remote/cloud backup jobs with QuDedup technology that deduplicates backup files at the source to optimize time, space, and bandwidth usage. Administrators also benefit from a Notification Center which consolidates all system events and alerts into a single-app solution, and the Security Counselor that scans for malware and recommends security settings. The TS-x53DU series is flexible and versatile. Its storage capacity can be expanded by connecting TL and TR storage expansion enclosures. The functionality of the TS-x53DU series can also be further extended using apps from the built-in QTS App Center, such as hosting multiple virtual machines and containers, implementing a professional video surveillance system, centrally managing multiple email accounts, automatic file organization, and more. Users can also download companion mobile apps to their Android and iOS devices to remotely access their NAS to improve work efficiency.
