The affirmation of God in your life is far more important than any affirmation you might get from anyone else. You get God’s promotion: "You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things." If you are faithful with the talents you have here on earth, God is going to give you greater capacity and greater ability to serve him for eternity in heaven. You get God’s celebration: "Come and share your master’s happiness." It’s like God is saying, "I'm smiling on you. It’s party time—let’s celebrate!" And God knows how to throw a party!
