{NAME}, I wanted to personally update you on the latest fundraising results in our primary election

[Pamela Pugh for Congress]( {NAME}, I wanted to personally update you on the latest fundraising results in our primary election race that were released this week. Our establishment-backed opponent Kirsten McDonald Rivet has raised over $1.5 Million & has nearly $1 Million cash on hand. Our self-funding opponent Matt Collier has raised over $580K and has over $175K cash on hand. In fact, he even gave his own campaign over $100K of his own money. Meanwhile, thanks to your tremendous grassroots support, our campaign has raised over $500K from 11,000 donations for a true grassroots average of around $50. We also have $186K cash on hand, which may sound like a lot, but of course is being dwarfed by the National D.C. money flowing into this race, similar to many primaries where AIPAC has put their thumb on the scale. While this is a solid position to be in and our campaign remains competitive, the simple truth is we need a big flood of grassroots donations in the next three days to push our campaign over the top. With early voting starting on Saturday this week, we need to raise another $35,000 to stay on track to launch our advertisements at the moment voters are really starting to pay attention to this race. We need to wire this money to the TV and Radio stations by 5pm tomorrow on Friday afternoon. [Please,]( [{NAME}]( is my most critical ask I’ll make of you during this campaign – can you donate $10 to help us fully fund our pathway to victory and get our advertisements live at the level they need to be? Please rush your donation right now if you can help →]( [( Thanks for your help, – Dr. Pamela Pugh --------------------------------------------------------------- I’m Dr. Pamela Pugh, and I’m a Saginaw native running for Congress in Michigan's 8th District. I've spent my career fighting to improve the lives of Michigan residents through public health initiatives, and as the Chief Public Health Advisor for Flint I played a pivotal role in standing alongside Flint residents during the water crisis. As a public servant, I currently serve as the President of the Michigan State Board of Education, a statewide elected position. I believe in standing up for the people and fighting for our democracy, our children, and our future. I've lived in Michigan's 8th District for my entire life and it will be the honor of a lifetime to represent my community in the House of Representatives. I'm relying on grassroots contributions to fuel my campaign to victory — [so please chip in what you can right now!]( Our email list is an important tool for us to reach Democrats and activists in Michigan and around the country.
