It’s been a busy few weeks! [Pamela Pugh for Congress]( {NAME}, I hope you had a good and restful long weekend! Memorial Day Weekend is always a special time for the Pugh family. Every year, we make it a point to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Growing up, my father, John Pugh, who served our country between 1963-67 in the U.S. Air Force, ensured that we made time to remember all of those who served alongside my dad and those who died fighting for our freedoms. Yesterday, I took a chance to get out and enjoy some fresh air by marching in the annual Saginaw parade, attending a Saginaw Memorial Day Event, and stopping by Midland to visit with the Midland County Democratic Party. We met with veterans and military spouses and parents of veterans and memorialized those who had lost their lives in military service to our country. Most of all, I hope you had a peace-filled long weekend, and are ready to head into this summer refreshed and ready to pound the pavement like we are on Team Pamela Pugh for Congress. [As of today, there are just 10 weeks left until election day, so please donate $10 or any amount if you can help us hit the ground running over the summer as we get out to knock on doors, call phones, host campaign events, and WIN the primary election on August 6th.]( [DONATE]( you for your support, – Dr. Pamela Pugh --------------------------------------------------------------- I’m Dr. Pamela Pugh, and I’m a Saginaw native running for Congress in Michigan's 8th District. I've spent my career fighting to improve the lives of Michigan residents through public health initiatives, and as the Chief Public Health Advisor for Flint I played a pivotal role in standing alongside Flint residents during the water crisis. As a public servant, I currently serve as the President of the Michigan State Board of Education, a statewide elected position. I believe in standing up for the people and fighting for our democracy, our children, and our future. I've lived in Michigan's 8th District for my entire life and it will be the honor of a lifetime to represent my community in the House of Representatives. I'm relying on grassroots contributions to fuel my campaign to victory — [so please chip in what you can right now!]( Our email list is an important tool for us to reach Democrats and activists in Michigan and around the country.
