message sent from my campaign iPhone {NAME}, I’m writing to you quickly from my campaign iPhone. I’m in the passenger seat of the car as we head down to submit 2,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot in the 2024 Democratic Primary Election for U.S. Congress in Michigan’s 8th District. {NAME}, our box of paper with 2,000 signatures is heavier than you might think. But today, my heart is light and I feel power in my body knowing that a Black woman, a public health expert, an environmental advocate, and a fighter for the people of our district will be on the primary ballot on August 6th. Special interest groups and kingmakers have already tried to put their rubber stamp on this Democratic primary election. So-called experts told me to say what they thought voters wanted to hear, but I know my community better. So, I am authentically running for Congress as a gray-haired, pro-ceasefire, pro-working class, Black woman from Saginaw, Michigan. After these signatures are submitted, I will officially be on the ballot. Our polling is telling us we have a great shot at winning this nomination in August, but to get there we need more resources in our campaign bank account. As we celebrate our ballot qualification after we drop off these signatures today, will you make a timely donation to help us keep up the momentum? Any amount really helps. Please use this link, {NAME}: [( Thanks so much for believing in me and this grassroots-funded campaign. Your support allows me to run for Congress as my authentic self. – Dr. Pamela Pugh sent from my iPhone [unsubscribe]( Pugh for Michigan 4580 State Street Saginaw, MI 48603 United States Unit 138 Paid for by Pugh for Michigan | Eric Welsby, Treasurer
