we've almost gathered all 2,000 signatures needed to qualify for the ballot {NAME} – Ever since

we've almost gathered all 2,000 signatures needed to qualify for the ballot [Pamela Pugh for Congress]( {NAME} – Ever since the all-important FEC fundraising deadline a few weeks ago, our campaign team has been laser-focused on the next big milestone coming our way – the ballot qualification deadline coming up next week on Tuesday, April 23rd. By next Tuesday, our team needs to finish gathering, verifying, and submitting 2,000 signatures, the maximum number of signatures allowed for ballot qualification. If you've seen Dr. Pugh around the district in the last few weeks, chances are she's asked you for your signature (see below). Here’s the good news: We are well on our way to finishing this Herculean task, and we should be done early – sometime in the next few days. Here’s the bad news: This has taken a lot of time and energy away from our campaign fundraising efforts. After signatures are submitted, we’ll have just about 100 days until the Michigan Primary, and every day until then is going to be a whirlwind of activity for our campaign. We’ll need to knock on doors, organize our neighbors, make phone calls, get ads created and on the air, and of course, raise the money to fund all of that campaigning to elect Dr. Pugh as the Democratic nominee in this open, toss-up House seat. [Please help us prepare for this sprint to the finish and redouble our campaign efforts by pitching in a $3 donation today. Every dollar you give helps make a big difference, as our campaign is almost entirely grassroots-funded with an average April online donation so far of just $31.56 →]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: [DONATE $3]( [DONATE $20.24]( [DONATE $31.56]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( Thanks for all your help here as we finish getting Dr. Pugh on the ballot, – Team Pamela Pugh for Congress --------------------------------------------------------------- I’m Dr. Pamela Pugh, and I’m a Saginaw native running for Congress in Michigan's 8th District. I've spent my career fighting to improve the lives of Michigan residents through public health initiatives, and as the Chief Public Health Advisor for Flint I played a pivotal role in standing alongside Flint residents during the water crisis. As a public servant, I currently serve as the President of the Michigan State Board of Education, a statewide elected position. I believe in standing up for the people and fighting for our democracy, our children, and our future. I've lived in Michigan's 8th District for my entire life and it will be the honor of a lifetime to represent my community in the House of Representatives. I'm relying on grassroots contributions to fuel my campaign to victory — [so please chip in what you can right now!]( Our email list is an important tool for us to reach Democrats and activists in Michigan and around the country.
