message sent from my campaign iPhone Can I be vulnerable with you for a minute, {NAME}? I’m a little bit worried about where our campaign fundraising numbers are right now. Okay, I’m a lot worried. Suppose we don’t raise enough money at this EOQ deadline at midnight tonight. In that case, I’m worried that the press, the pundits, and the national Democratic infrastructure will count our campaign out prematurely. I’m worried the critical perspective I bring to this race as an educated, experienced black woman will get sidelined. Stepping up to run for public office in America is scary. It’s hard work. It’s a risk. There’s no paycheck at the end for losing a campaign. But I’m not done yet, {NAME}. I’m doing this for Saginaw – a community that deserves a leader in Washington who has our back. I’m doing this for the children who deserve to see more Black women in leadership positions. I’m doing this for you. I’m doing this for me. I need your help. I've never been particularly good at asking for help – or money for my campaign. But the simple truth is to win this race, we need more money. And quickly. Please use this link if you believe in me and pitch in whatever you can spare before midnight. This isn't easy for me to ask, but I really need your help at this moment, {NAME}: [( Thanks for letting me be vulnerable, – Dr. Pamela Pugh sent from my iPhone [unsubscribe]( Pugh for Michigan 4580 State Street Saginaw, MI 48603 United States Unit 138 Paid for by Pugh for Michigan | Eric Welsby, Treasurer

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
