This month we released new blocks from Librato, PagerDuty, and Scale, in addition to an update to our Java v4 SDK [PubNub] Product Update December 2016 Announcement: EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Compliance PubNub was a party to the overruled Safe Harbor agreement between the EU and U.S. However, PubNub has continued to ensure compliance with data privacy laws in the EU by receiving certification to become part of the [EU-U.S. Privacy Shield]. ‎The Privacy Shield Framework provides a set of robust and enforceable protections for the personal data of European Union citizens. [Privacy Shield Framework] Available Now: New SDKs (Java v4, Python v4, Angular 2, C# v4, Roku BrightScript) Java v4: The [4.3 release] includes a new GSON parser which replaces the old Jackson parser and reduces the jar size and method count. Python v4: The [Python v4 SDK] is now available! The Python V4 SDK supports asyncio, native threads, Tornado and Twisted. [New PubNub SDKs] Roku BrightScript: We now have a [BrightScript SDK] available for adding PubNub to your Roku applications! Angular 2 Beta: Angular 2 support is here! [PubNub BLOCKS] Some of this month’s featured blocks include: • [Librato] – Librato allows developers and operations professionals to monitor and analyze metrics at all levels of the stack, and offers a suite of features to visualize, analyze and actively alert on metrics that matter. • [PagerDuty] – PagerDuty provides alerting, on-call scheduling, escalation policies and incident tracking to increase uptime of your apps, servers, websites and databases. It is an Operations Platform for IT, available to notify your team and to aggregate system information at every step of the incident lifecycle. • [Scale API] – Scale is an API for human labor. With the Scale API, you can deploy real humans, on-demand, to execute tasks like content moderation, phone surveys, transcription, e-commerce tagging, and image recognition. The API handles everything from sourcing and managing the crowd to building efficient tooling. When the date has passed, only 'best effort' support will be provided for v3 SDKs.
