Did Garland purger himself? Joe Biden's DOJ had a very busy week, and even dished out bribery charge

Did Garland purger himself? Joe Biden's DOJ had a very busy week, and even dished out bribery charges to a prominent Democrat who's somehow — if you can believe it — dumber and more corrupt than Hunter. Many say it's impossible to achieve such status within the Democratic Party. But this New Joisy senator did so in spectacular fashion. First, the president's personal lawyer, Attorney General Merrick Garland, took a drubbing from Republicans over the investigation into Hunter on Wednesday. Although Garland weaseled out of numerous questions, some of his answers were quite revealing. Friday, the DOJ [indicted]( long-time Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez and his wife on bribery offenses. Menendez allegedly hid nearly $500,000 in cash in envelopes, clothes and closets throughout his home, and also stashed away $100,000 in gold bars. A crack-addled first son with a penchant for Ukraine's prostitutes and natural gas, or a chubby politician from the armpit of New York whose cheap ties are constantly stained with yellow mustard? Pick your fighter, Daily Caller patriot. In This Week’s Patriots Newsletter: - Real Big News: House Judiciary digs further into the Biden crime family - Hot Off The Press: McCarthy gives Zelenskyy the cold shoulder - For The Record: Corporate Media brags on "Bidenomics" Everything we do is made possible by our faithful subscribers. If you love reading the Daily Caller, [please consider joining us Today.]( REAL BIG NEWS House GOP Grills AG Garland Fireworks exploded at a House Judiciary hearing this week as Congress continues to ramp up its probe into the Biden crime family and a rogue administrative state. Joe Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland received a grilling on Capitol Hill from several top Republican lawmakers, including Jim Jordan, Thomas Massie and Matt Gaetz, on issues ranging from the Hunter Biden case to the federal government's involvement in the Jan. 6 riot. [Jordan went after Garland]( on his previous testimony that then-United States Attorney for Delaware David Weiss had complete authority to bring charges against Hunter Biden. "My point's real simple. My point's real simple, Mr. Garland. You said he had complete authority, but he had already been turned down," Jordan [said](. "He wanted to bring in action in the District of Columbia, and the U.S. attorney there said no you can't. And then you go tell the United States Senate under oath that he has complete authority," Jordan said. In a separate line of questioning, Garland dodged after Gaetz pressed him on $3 million worth of payments sent from a [Chinese energy firm]( to Hunter's former business associate. At one point in the hearing, Massie [suggested]( Garland may have perjured himself over his statements relating to Jan. 6 and whether he had any knowledge that federal agents were in the crowd that day. Garland refused to answer. “This is an answer that’s appropriate at a press conference. It’s not an answer that’s appropriate when we are asking questions … you cannot continue to give us these answers. Aren’t you in fact in contempt of Congress when you refuse to answer?” Massie pressed. Garland later replied, “I don’t know the answer to either of those questions. If there were any, I don’t know how many, or whether there are any.” “I think you may have just perjured yourself, that you don’t know that there were any?” Massie said. “You wanna say that again? That you don’t know if there were any?” HOT OFF THE PRESS McCarthy Snubs Zelenskyy: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy [snubbed]( the Biden crime family's personal bag man, er, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Thursday by shooting down his request to address a joint session of Congress. Zelenskyy reportedly [begged]( U.S. lawmakers to remain unified on the war issue, but apparently forgot to say the magic words "please" and "thank you." Fleeing The Fox Hole: Media mogul Rupert Murdoch [announced]( he is stepping down as chairman of Fox Corp. and News Corp., setting the stage for his son, Lachlan, to assume control of the corporate, "conservative" behemoth. After Tucker's departure in April — and now Murdoch's — Fox News seems to be turning into a husk of its former self that once dominated cable news. Liberals Fall For Another Race Hoax: Boston University [is launching an investigation]( into notorious "antiracist scholar" (race-baiting hack) Ibram X. Kendi and his Center for Antiracist Research, which raked in millions in donations from liberal activists and corporations in the aftermath of the 2020 BLM riots. One scholar said the center blew through $30 million in just two years. TRENDING What's your take on this? [Click here]( and scroll down to leave a comment! FOR THE RECORD Pundits Spin Economy Like A Washing Machine: As millions of Americans struggle to feel the effects of Joe Biden's highly touted “Bidenomics,” corporate media has been [deliberately misleading the public]( on the key facts, such as the rate of inflation. Daily Caller's Brianna Lyman [goes scorched earth]( on the liberal pundits who spout White House talking points without a scintilla of skepticism. Bob The Briber: Corporate media will of course report on Bob Menendez' bribery charges, but let it be known that in 2015, the Daily Caller [broke news]( of prostitution allegations against Menendez that caught the attention of the FBI.
