[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at The Providence Journal and this is the Daily Briefing. It's officially the end of an era. If the Patriots' poor record this year wasn't enough to signal that the dynasty is over then the announcement Thursday that Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft seals the deal. Unfortunately, Tom Brady, Ron Gronkowski and Troy Brown aren't walking through that door. As I wrote earlier this week, it was time to move on and better a year early than a year late. As great as the past quarter century has been, the franchise needs a reset and with a top-three draft pick now is a great time. It was nice to see Belichick and Kraft stand next to each to announce the end and you can [catch coverage of the final goodbye from The Journal's Eric Rueb here]( along with [Eric's coverage of Kraft's later press conference]( when questions were finally asked and answered. Even on a day to celebrate the success the question will be asked, was [Belichick's success all because of Tom Brady?]( And as fans get used to the idea of someone other than Belichick roaming the sidelines, the question now is just who will it be? Here's a look at who that could be. We'll also be watching to see [what's next for Belichick as he chases the all-time NFL win record.]( Now we wait and watch. It will be an offseason Patriot fans aren't used to, but it sure will be fun.
