[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at The Providence Journal and this is the Daily Briefing. It's no secret Rhode Island's housing market has skyrocketed since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Housing stock in communities across the state has shrunk, while the prices of those available homes keep climbing. I'm fortunate to have bought a home in 2017, but for other buyers, the market has not been as kind. Of course, if you're selling, then you've timed it right. But where exactly are the most expensive markets in the state? The Journal's Wheeler Cowperthwaite continues his ongoing series examining Rhode Island's real estate market with a look at the most expensive communities to buy. Kris Craig, The Providence Journal As you can expect, they all share one common thread, being on the state's waterfront. And while Block Island sits at the top of the list, you may be surprised by number 2. It turns out there's also a beautiful, million-dollar home in that town that hasn't sold yet...in case you're looking. Where are the most expensive places to buy in Rhode Island right now?[Check out Wheeler's article and learn more.]( This free newsletter is possible thanks to our subscribers.
