[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at The Providence Journal and this is the Daily Briefing. We all watched as Rhode Island's housing market exploded the past couple of years causing home prices to quickly rise as inventory sunk. [Real Estate Agent Beatrice Whitman Condo At Woodland Estates In Johnston 2] Real estate agent Beatrice Whitman shows a condo at Woodland Estates in Johnston. One of the more affordable places to buy a condo, Johnston ranks sixth, this condo is priced at $200k. David DelPoio While it may seem like every house in the state is no longer affordable there are options out there. How do I know? That's because The Journal's Wheeler Cowperthwaite has been combing through real estate data to find out just where homeownership is most affordable, at least when it comes to condos and multi-family homes. Some of the communities on the list probably won't shock anyone, as they've long been among the most affordable in the state. But there are a pair of seaside communities that appear on each list, meaning you don't have to live in an urban area to have a reasonable mortgage. So where are Rhode Island's most affordable places to buy a condo or multi-family home? [Check out Wheeler's story and get ready to put in an offer.]( Enjoying the Daily Briefing?
