[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at The Providence Journal and this is the Daily Briefing. With 400-some miles of coastline, Rhode Island is a piece of heaven for those that love the ocean and one man is doing his part to experience as much of it as possible. Taylor Ellis is on a quest to walk the entire length of Rhode Island's south-facing ocean coastline. It's a journey that will take him from Westerly to Little Compton. Along the way, he has a number of obstacles to face. The Journal's Antonia Noori Farzan recently joined Ellis as he made his way along a section of Narragansett's rocky coastline. Just in this section, they faced some problems you'd expect during such a journey. Large, jagged boulders, slippery moss and cliffs. [ONLINE] Ellis says he's completed about three-quarters of his journey along Rhode Island's southern shoreline. Antonia Noori Farzan/The Providence Journal But there are other impediments — many manmade — along the way and on this day a drone that came to pay a visit. While Ellis's effort started out as an attempt to get outside and enjoy the natural beauty, he's also come to learn a lot more about one of the state's most precious resources. [Check out Antonia's story and learn more about Ellis's journey and what he's encountered along his rocky ride.]( Enjoying the Daily Briefing?
