By now you probably know, Ed Cooley is out as head coach of the Providence College Friars men's basketball team. After days of speculation — and Cooley's [East Greenwich house hitting the market]( — it was made official that [he is headed to Georgetown University]( a once mighty college basketball powerhouse that has fallen on tough times. With the decision made, the question becomes who's next? Fortunately, The Journal's Bill Koch has his finger on the pulse of college basketball in Rhode Island and especially PC. Even before the decision was announced Bill had a list of candidates ready to go, looking at who Cooley's successor could be.
