I've shot at a target a couple of times while at a friend's home in Vermont, but that's pretty much it. That said I've always found the debate around guns interesting. With many relatives — both living in and out of Rhode Island — gun owners I've come to appreciate their arguments for ownership. The number of mass shootings across the country offers a counterpoint. Once the block is epoxied in place it can't be removed and the magazine will hold no more than 10 rounds. Tom Mooney, The Providence Journal With Rhode Island's new law banning the possession of any gun magazine that holds more than 10 rounds in place it appears gun owners are now finding the need to take action. It's been less than a week since the law went into effect, but [The Journal's Tom Mooney has the latest on how gun owners are adapting.]( For some, it means heading back to the local gunshop and a bit of booming business for the shop. For others, a whole different option is being considered. At least until it's determined if an appeal of a judge's decision to uphold the law will move forward and, if it does, what happens in court.
