[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at [The Providence Journal]( and this is the Daily Briefing. Last Saturday on Narragansett Bay was likely one of the busiest of the summer. There were regattas and Aquapalooza joining the usual pleasure crafts enjoying a sunny day. And of course there were the boats that fill Newport Harbor to take in the Newport Folk Festival. These are the types of days that summer in Rhode Island are meant for, but it's also no day at the beach when it comes to safety. For Newport's harbormaster, it's a mix of letting boaters – who are on everything from pool floats to mini yachts – enjoy the day, but also making sure they're safe. [The Journal's Paul Parker takes a fun look at the airport by the numbers.]( • Matthew Judon wasn't at practice yesterday, but that didn't seem to stop the defense.
