The mini Japanese vehicles called "kei cars" and "kei trucks" have a cult following, but Rhode Island doesn't want them on the roads anymore and has started revoking registrations as they've been deemed unsafe by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. Antonia Noori Farzan [The Journal's Antonia Farzan reports on legislation currently before the General Assembly addressing these tiny vehicles.]( • The Journal's Antonia Farzan recently chronicled [the issue of resident violence in Rhode Island's nursing homes]( and at least one tool may soon become available to help loved ones keep an eye on those loving in these facilities. Antonia reports that legislation that would allow surveillance cameras to be placed in nursing home residents' rooms unanimously cleared the Senate on Tuesday.
