[ {NAME}-- There is a lot of hurt in America right now. {NAME}-- There is a lot of hurt in America right now. More black lives have been taken from us at the hands of law enforcement and without consequence. Nationwide, over 11,000 people have been arrested since last Monday. While mass protests continue and the only ask is for equality and justice -- these asks have been met with police violence, tear gas, and shots fired. At the Voter Protection Project we find these actions completely unacceptable and inexcusable -- and we stand ready to fight alongside this movement and to be a part of the solution. Black Lives Matter. To our core the Voter Protection Project is committed to making sure these voices are heard in the streets and at the ballot box. We’ll confront systemic racism and discrimination in our country every way we can -- that’s our promise. Too many protesters have been wrongly arrested -- and we must set these protesters free.
