The company is Newmont Corp (NEM) and the chart he shared with us the other day leaves nothing to the imagination: From a current price near $34, he’s expecting it to bounce to an initial target of $100. And while the stock has already jumped almost 10% higher from when he first called it (near $31), he has warned that this would be a fairly aggressive entry at this point. For more conservative entries, you may want to wait to see a daily close above $44 or even $55. That said, he’s already in the trade with Jan 2026 $60 Calls… Though he warns that with such a lofty target, this could be a pattern that takes years — even longer than the Jan 2026 options he’s holding. As such, he’s recommended possibly just playing it with shares to avoid any issues with options expiring before this move fully plays out. And while he hasn’t explicitly stated it, plenty of traders will tell you that when you have a long-term expectation of a stock like this, you can reduce risk — along with your cost basis — by selling covered calls against the stock you hold. NOTE: The setup invalidates on a move below the 2015 low at $15.65 area.
