[] [] [] [] Apple Is More Oversold Than It’s Been in Years Hey, Graham Lindman here… Don’t look now, but just when people started kicking dirt on Apple, it made a nice move higher while the rest of the market was in the dumps much of Friday. [In fact, Apple (AAP) is more oversold than it’s been in years…]( Four years, to be exact. Take a look at this chart from Bespoke and see how it’s crashed through its major moving averages during recent post-earnings malaise: [] AAPL is now three standard deviations below its 50-day moving average, the most oversold reading it’s had since the COVID-19 crash! Sure, the stock has hit a rough patch, down about 8% year to date even after the 2% bounce it had Friday afternoon while the rest of the market was selling off. The AI craze, meanwhile, has pushed stocks like fellow “Magnificent 7” mate Nvidia (NVDA) to insane heights. So is Apple yesterday’s news in the tech world, left eating the dust of high-flying AI stocks? [Not so fast, I say.]( Sure, AI and chip stocks have been THE trading craze of the year, with crypto miners and Bitcoin not too far behind. But Apple isn’t going anywhere. In fact, when a great stock is this oversold, that often means it’s due for a bounce.
