Glad you asked. Because we’ve just seen one. For Deep Value, we’re looking for stocks that have dropped way below “fair value”. But that’s not all. We’re also looking for positive momentum. And then we’re looking to ride a position up to “fair value” and exit with a big gain. SPR (Spirit Aerosystems) was down in the dumps back in September 2023. It had fallen all the way down to the lower Band of an 800 length Bollinger Band™. The price at that time was $15 but “fair value” was all the way up at $34. As you can see, it made its way all the way up to “fair value” and could’ve been exited at the 800 simple moving average at $34. That’s a 100% gain.
