[] [View in browser]( [View in browser]( [] AUG 15 2023 [] [] SCOTT WELSH’S TICKER TALES Double Dip (DKNG) Back on April 20th, we talked about Draftkings (DKNG). At that time, we were looking for a breakout above $21.62: [] And we got it. Since then, it’s run up nicely from $21.62 to as high as $34.49, a 59% gain. [] So, it is over? Not necessarily. Even though there's been a big gain, every stock takes a breather. DKNG is doing that now. But momentum is still good. We’re still above the long-term 30-week moving average. We could buy DKNG once again on a new breakout above $34.50. We’ll keep an eye on it. Happy trading, — Scott Welsh P.S. As a reminder, this play is based on my longer-term Weinstein Stage Analysis method. The charts above use weekly candles and a 30 week simple moving average. [] [] JEFFRY TURNMIRE Herd Mentality: How Collective Decision Making Shapes Financial Markets Ah, the age-old dance of the stock market. It's a fascinating spectacle. Stocks rise, they fall, and in between, there's a whirlwind of decisions, strategies, and emotions. But have you ever stopped to wonder why certain stocks or sectors suddenly become the talk of the town? Why, out of the blue, everyone seems to be piling into the same investment? Let me introduce you to the concept of "Herd Mentality." Now, I'm not talking about cows or sheep here. In the financial world, the herd refers to investors, both big and small, moving in the same direction, almost simultaneously. It's like a ripple effect. One major player makes a move, and before you know it, other big players are following suit. It's collective decision-making on a grand scale, and it shapes our financial markets in ways you might not even realize. You see, when one big Wall Street institution decides to invest heavily in a particular stock or sector, others take notice. No one wants to be left out. The Fear Of Missing Out, or “FOMO” as the kids these days call it, kicks in. Other institutions, hedge funds, and even individual investors jump on the bandwagon. This collective action can drive stock prices up or down at an astonishing pace. But here's the kicker: often, this herd movement isn't based on solid financial analysis or groundbreaking news. Instead, it's driven by sentiment, speculation, and sometimes, just plain old gossip. It's a game of follow-the-leader where the leader might just be acting on a hunch. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Jeffry, with all this herd movement, how does one find solid ground in the stock market of 2023?" Well, that's where my buddy Lance Ippolito comes in. He's been observing these herd movements and has crafted a strategy that taps into these collective market waves. And guess what? I’m joining him on a live webinar tomorrow, August 16th @ 4pm Eastern to spill the beans on his unique approach. So, if the whims of the herd have left you scratching your head or if you're keen to harness the power of collective market movements, I'd suggest you join us tomorrow → [Just click here to reserve your spot](. After all, in the unpredictable dance of the stock market, having a seasoned dance partner can make all the difference.
