This includes trading of AAPL stock, one of the most widely held and traded stocks. This market closure introduces an interesting phenomenon in stock market behavior known as the "holiday effect." This is an effect where stock returns tend to be higher on the day before a market holiday. The reasoning behind this effect varies, with some attributing it to overall positive sentiment and lower trading volumes.
