What is that quote? "First they attack you… then they join you… then you win." It seems BlackRock couldn't resist the allure of the world's most popular cryptocurrency. It seems the world’s largest asset manager has realized that Bitcoin is not just a passing fad — but a force to be reckoned with in the world of finance. With this application, it’s safe to say that BlackRock is jumping headfirst into the realm of digital assets. Perhaps they finally recognized the immense potential and value that Bitcoin and blockchain technology hold. Or maybe they simply couldn't resist the allure of the massive profits being generated by this emerging market. Whatever the motive, one thing is almost certain: Having a financial powerhouse like BlackRock throw their weight behind Bitcoin can only benefit the digital asset.
