What I learned at a German castle

[] It’s all about risk and reward [] [] [] I got to go to a castle the other day! [] In fact, it’s one of the few castles in Germany that was never sieged or overtaken. It was pretty beautiful! But while I was up there, I was thinking… It’s pretty remote and far away from anywhere… I’m not really sure why anyone would want to take it over! See, the family was safe and secure in their little castle… But they didn’t have a good water source until well into the 1800s… And didn’t have running water until last century! And it got me thinking… There’s a point you reach where you’re being SO safe that it’s actually no longer a good thing… That happens a lot in the markets, too. People really don’t understand risk and reward when it comes to trading. In fact, they’ll often flip it on its head, taking HUGE risks for tiny returns and thinking they’re being super safe.
