The aftermath of this catastrophic event has been nothing short of heartbreaking, with countless lives hanging in the balance — and the need for urgent medical and mental health support continues to grow. The 6.8-magnitude earthquake has affected more than 300,000 people. Rescuers, including our local partners, are now working against the clock to find people trapped in the rubble. [Make an Emergency Gift >]( Thanks to the support of generous donors like you, our partner SAMU has emergency responders on the ground near Adassil, a village southwest of Marrakech. They are: • Providing medical care to survivors with two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. • Searching for survivors with four rescue specialists and two dogs. • Supporting health care and rescue efforts with a surgical rescue unit, three all-terrain vehicles, five doctors, two nurses and eight Health Emergency Technicians.
