Hi {NAME} -- 2020 tragically exposed many of the vast inequalities underlying American society. Democrats responded by demonstrating, organizing, and turning out to vote in droves. The result was not only an historic victory by President Biden, but a transformed public consciousness that is ready for a new chapter in the story of America. According to an NBC News poll last month, a majority of Americans -- 55 percent -- say the government should do more to solve problems and help people. That's a reversal from a few decades ago, when support for more government intervention lingered in the 30s and low 40s. The Biden administration clearly had a finger on the pulse of this public sentiment and worked to make it a reality. The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan saved countless lives in the depths of the coronavirus pandemic. The administration's American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan will only build the future prosperity of our country further when they are passed by Congress. It's no surprise that Republicans are hard at work trying to find ways to vilify this unprecedented success, and they've fallen back to their old habits of warning about rising government debt. The hypocrisy is stunning when we consider that this was the party that voted for Donald Trump's $1.9 trillion tax giveaway to the wealthy without any plan to pay for it and increased his military budget every year he was in office. [While they continue to scaremonger about the deficit all the way to Election Day in 2022, we need to prepare to get the word out about a new era of American prosperity led by President Biden and progressive Democrats. Please, can you contribute a few dollars right now and help us get to our fundraising goal for the day?
