We can't believe we agree with Fox News

The Wall Street Journal reported back in May that a two-year study concluded Facebook’s algorithms were politically polarizing the country. Facebook’s response? To not enact the most significant changes that the internal study urged them to take. Additionally, Facebook and other social media sites have been hotbeds for sharing fake news. President-elect Biden has said he would revoke legal protections for Big Tech, which would then make companies like Twitter and Facebook accountable for hosting false information, like the kind that propelled Trump to victory in 2016. But even though studies have shown conservatives share the most fake news online, many GOP Senators are convinced Big Tech is actually too friendly to progressives.
