Hi {NAME} -- Donald Trump?s self-described ?elite strike force team? of lawyers and top cronie

Hi {NAME} -- Donald Trump’s self-described “elite strike force team” of lawyers and top cronies recently addressed the country to make what they called an “opening statement” to the American people. What they said afterward should make the hairs on the back of every Democrat’s neck stand straight up. POLITICO reports that ‘[Rudy Giuliani] and his colleagues spun a web of mistruths that made mention of the Clinton Foundation, liberal megadonor George Soros and the late Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chávez.” In other words, the president’s team threw everything but the kitchen sink at the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s victory -- with Giuliani himself claiming that Donald Trump still has “multiple pathways to victory” based on the status of six battleground states. The good news is that there’s simply no evidence for any of the half-baked theories Trump’s A-team of lawyers continue to hammer down our throats. And Joe Biden seems confident he’ll be the next president, telling Americans “I’m confident he knows he hasn’t won, is not going to be able to win and we’re going to be sworn in January 20th… It’s just outrageous what he’s doing.” We agree. But the fact is, no matter how outrageous Trump’s legal efforts are, they’re attracting a lot of the wrong kind of attention. The press conference was held in the lobby of the Republican National Committee’s headquarters. Right-wing pundits like the kind on Fox News and the One American News Network are echoing the lies of Trump and his team. If the Republican Party and the right-wing media are throwing their full weight behind these baseless allegations, it could be enough to keep them alive a little longer. How much longer? Hopefully not enough to derail Joe Biden’s inauguration -- but we refuse to let it get to that point. Progressive Majority has worked tirelessly to spread the truth about Trump’s war against our country and its norms. We informed you of his attacks on USPS, of the crooked crimes of his Cabinet members, of his many plots to cast doubt on the election -- now, we’re telling you about what could be the darkest plot of them all. We need to stand against it. We just need your help. [Please, if you want to return to an America where the election is over when the winner is decided -- if you want Donald Trump and his team of lawyers to spend the rest of their lives living down the disgrace of this attack on our democracy -- if you want to show your support for Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, and the rule of law against all those in our country currently threatening it -- please give what you can now to support our work and stand with us during this flashpoint moment of history.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $500]( [DONATE OTHER]( Pretty soon we’ll be getting the kitchen sink thrown at us, too.
