Hi {NAME} -- Before he was elected president, Donald Trump called Social Security a Ponzi scheme --

Hi {NAME} -- Before he was elected president, Donald Trump called Social Security a Ponzi scheme -- and said he had no problem telling hard-working Americans they can’t retire until 70 because, in his words: “my retirement date will be ... about one day shy of the death date chiseled on my tombstone.” The other horrific statements contained in Trump’s 2000 book, “The America We Deserve,” include plans to privatize Social Security -- and a suggestion that Americans should just put their Social Security funds into the stock market because it would “make sure that your money is diversified.” We don’t want to see Americans forced to work until they’re 70. We don’t want to see Social Security privatized. And we don’t want to see another four years of Trump -- because it’s his ideas that sound like Ponzi schemes. Trump has already deferred funding for Social Security until the end of the year, and if he wins in November, there will be no one left to hold him accountable. If you demand that Trump not change Social Security any further, then please make your voice heard now: Do you support Social Security? [YES]( [NO]( Thank you for your response, Progressive Majority [TAKE THE POLL]( Progressive Majority PAC is leading the fight against Trump's dangerous and divisive agenda by helping elect progressive Democrats to Congress and protecting the gains we made in the midterms.
