Hi Trader, One firm says the sky is falling on a stock; the other says that the same stock is ready for a buy… Hard to sift through it all without strong market knowledge and years of experience. What’s the retail trader to do? Well, today, I wanted to give you a brief glimpse of my thoughts on some of Wall Streets’ most important ideas. Hopefully, I’ll help you cut through the noise a little bit. First, let’s look at Morgan Stanley. They’re predicting crypto bank Silvergate Capital (SI) could jump 52%. So basically, they’re saying it’s a buy. You know me: I believe there are some good crypto stocks out there. They get you exposure to the crypto market without directly holding any of the currencies themselves. In fact, I’ve got my eye on some crypto miners. But here’s the thing: I tend to follow the legendary Paul Tudor Jones' basic bull strategy: Buy the 200-EMA breakout on the daily chart. As long as the stock trades above the 200-EMA... Then and only then would I personally want to keep SI. It can easily potentially double from this level. Still, we want to take one day at a time and see how Bitcoin behaves going to the end of 2021. Now, here’s another stock that’s the talk of the town today: Best Buy (BBY). Investment Bank Piper Sandler thinks the retailer’s Best Buy Total Tech membership program (a tech support membership) could drive both sales and profits. Now, my education and training do not allow me to jump on the Best Buy wagon. Once again, I tend only to buy the 200-EMA breakout on the daily chart. I cannot see such a thing happening right now. However, if the stock breaks on the daily and consolidates above 114$/115$ per share… You can count on me being the first one to load up on this play. Of course, Wall Street cranks out these ideas seemingly every minute. But if you want me to be by your side, helping you sift through the news and find the biggest profit opportunities...
