Once you sign up, you’ll be asked to invite some friends to build your “Orbit.” From there, you will have your own ID, which acts like a board where your friends can drop things like images, text, links, and even drawings in order to build your profile. Key to amo is its gridless nature. [Get started]( WOAH [The saga continues]( I, of course, mean the OpenAI saga. Quick primer: Sam Altman was suddenly fired from the board last Friday, the President of OpenAI (Greg Brockman) resigned in solidarity too, and both were brought in by Microsoft to lead a new AI research team on Monday. Since then,[over 700 members of OpenAI’s staff have signed an open letter]( threatening to quit if the board in its entirety does not resign for its handling of the situation. The list includes [Mira Murati](, who was briefly interim CEO after the board sacked Altman. Now, [it appears that the Sam x Microsoft deal is not set in stone](. When asked if Sam Altman could make a return to OpenAI, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella told CNBC: “That is for the OpenAI board and management and employees to choose.”  It doesn't end there, though. According to reports, [OpenAI apparently approached the Anthropic CEO]( about taking the top job, and a potential merger. This was refused by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. This isn’t over yet.
