Happy Monday! Did you know there are only nine whole Mondays left until we bid adieu to 2023? How time... [Product Hunt]( [Read in browser]( GOOD MEWS Happy Monday! Did you know there are only nine whole Mondays left until we bid adieu to 2023? How time flies! Here’s the news: - [OpenAI is hosting its first-ever developer conference today](. Any predictions? - [Kendrick Lamar just dropped a phone](. It’s already sold out. - [We’re hosting a live event in San Francisco today](. Join us! PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT [Elon's new AI]( A new challenger has entered the ring. The AI ring, that is. Since the end of 2022, we’ve witnessed a steady stream of new AI tools from the likes of [OpenAI](, [Google](, [Microsoft](, and [Meta]( hit the scene. Now, X (formally Twitter) wants a slice of the pie. Elon Musk announced [Grok]( over the weekend, the company’s own competitor to the likes of [ChatGPT]( and [Bard](. According to Musk, Grok has a more “rebellious” nature compared to others on the market, and it’s inspired by The Hitcherhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Where it could really shine is how it gathers data. Instead of being fed information up to a certain date, Grok uses X to inform its answers by trawling through user posts on the platform, which unsurprisingly leads to a more sarcastic response from our new AI friend. [Musk posted an example of this more sarcastic tone]( with a screengrab of a prompt asking Grok for step-by-step instructions for making a certain illicit drug. Included in its response were directions to obtain a “chemistry degree” and to set up a “clandestine laboratory in a remote location.” I mean, it’s not wrong? If you’re wondering where the name comes from, Grok is a word coined by Robert A. Heinlein in his novel “Stranger in a Stranger Land.” It’s a Martian term with no direct earthling translation. Grok is currently in its early testing phases, but it will be usable by all X Premium subscribers once it launches to the public. When you do get a chance to try it out, don’t forget to ask what the meaning of life is. I have a hunch it might be 42. [Check out Grok]( Monday, 6 November 2023 This Weekend's Top Products [Success.ai]( [Supercharge your growth with AI-powered cold emails]( [▲ 766+]( [Qolabot]( [Make more, do less]( [▲ 640+]( [Orba]( [Convert your web visitors with personalized AI conversations]( [▲ 467+]( [COUPLESY]( [Relationship checkins and date ideas to nuture and grow love]( [▲ 441+]( [Auto Subtitles Generator]( [ai, video, subtitles]( [▲ 411+]( [Director Mode]( [Precise image control of character position/scale/rotation]( [▲ 538+]( [PotionPitch AI]( [Elevate sales outreach with AI-powered personalization]( [▲ 370+]( [Insou]( [Write presentations like a doc]( [▲ 341+]( [Nexa.ai]( [Instant AI product & model photography at studio quality]( [▲ 422+]( [Iconoir 7.0.0]( [An open-source icons library with 1500+ icons and growing]( [▲ 314+]( [Discover many more]( 10 YEARS OF SHIPPING Product Hunt is ten! Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
