Not only did DBRX outperform Llama 2 (Meta), Mixtral (Mistral), and Grok (X), it got close to GPT-4’s performance “on several scores.” A win for Databricks: Last July, Databricks acquired MosaicML, an open-source AI startup, for $1.4 billion.
