Hi {NAME}! Blogging has given me a place to express myself. And having a place to express myself has given me many personal benefits such as: identifying, sharpening and deepening my ideas and opinions; growing my writing and communication skills; building discipline; given me a creative outlet; helping me confront fears and doubts and grow in confidence… This list could go on and of course includes giving me an income. But the bottom line is I’m much better as a person for having a blog. There's a lot to work through when you're first starting out blogging - like if you're even going to keep doing it - and it takes a while to start generating an income. It goes without saying that you don't also want the stress of high hosting rates, which was the big mistake made in the story I'm about to tell you. I'm sharing ProBlogger’s General Manager Laney Galligan's "hosting horror story", and it's not what you're used to hearing. Tales of downtime and frustrating customer service calls are nothing compared with this mistake. And even though it's somewhat embarrassing she has let me include it here as a cautionary tale. It wasn't Laney's first blog, and this time she didn't want the bother of figuring out and maintaining everything herself. So she paid an annual fee of $950 for an excellent all-in-one hosting, e-commerce and content management system. In the first year she only posted a handful of posts, when the renewal came around for a second year, she promised herself she would do better "to get a return on the investment". She never did and eventually moved back to a simple site and hosting and cut her (very considerable) losses. And that lesson is one of the main reasons why we recommend Bluehost for new bloggers - low-cost equals low risk. Start small and scale up as your blog grows, rather than get ahead of yourself and end up paying for what you don't need. For the next 2 days, the downside risk of starting a new blog (or transferring your hosting) is even smaller because [Bluehost]( are having their biggest sale of the year today and tomorrow - from July 15th (12:00am MDT) to 16th (11:59pm MDT)! [Get web hosting from only $2.65/month!Â]( With [Bluehost]( you also get: - Your website comes with WordPress already installed! - Free domain name included with your hosting account - 24/7 Support - 30 day money back guarantee [Get a great deal on hosting your new blog]( Darren To make sure you keep getting these emails, please add darren@problogger.com to your address book or whitelist us. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
