[Hisham al-Omeisy,]( a frequent source to media organizations about conditions in his home country of Yemen, was abducted on Monday, and he's being held at the government's National Security Bureau. Journalists across the globe are rallying for his release. Also, [Kenyan rapper Octopizzo]( is speaking out about police violence against protesters in the aftermath of the presidential election there.
