[Power Profit Trades]( March 8, 2020 Dear Power Profit Trader, On Tuesday, the major event in the news was the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates as a way to try and salvage the damage done by the spreading fear of the coronavirus. This emergency rate cut was the first one that we've seen since the 2008 financial crisis. After this happened, there was a short period of time where stocks rallied, but that was short lived and we ended the day with a market sell-off. We're waiting for the next scheduled Fed meeting that is set to take place in mid-March, where we could easily see another rate cut. Due to the inefficiencies of the one we saw this week, I have my doubts that an additional cut will protect against the financial damage done by the coronavirus... but I'm eager to see what happens.
