[Our Efforts To Ensure Safe and Uninterrupted Delivery]( A Health & Safety Update Things are changing quickly in today's world. I would like to share important updates about our efforts to keep on-demand delivery uninterrupted—the safety of our fleet, restaurants, stores, and loyal customers is our top priority. Here’s a closer look at what we’ve been working on. For Our Customers - We recently launched a new product: [Non-Contact Deliveries](. Now whatever you order can be conveniently and safely left at your door. - We are continuing to work with our Postmates Fleet, restaurants, and stores to share the latest guidance from the CDC and ensure proper food safety which is paramount to how we operate our platform. We work in partnership with local governments to balance new guidance on in-store dining, with expanded delivery & pick up options. - Many of you are working remotely or dealing with school closures. That’s why we're offering reduced delivery fees—often during peak lunch hours—making on-demand delivery more accessible during this challenging time. For Our Postmates Fleet - Last Tuesday, we launched the [Postmates Fleet Relief Fund]( which aids in covering the cost of co-pays, medical expenses, and sick leave related to COVID-19. We are also working with Congress to expand a paid sick leave tax credit to all eligible contractors who are on the Postmates platform. - We are adapting to the needs of our Postmates Fleet by gathering direct feedback from on-demand workers in real-time. Additionally, we are providing them with guidance from the CDC and government officials to ensure that their health and safety is prioritized. For Our Restaurants and Stores - In order to support restaurants and small businesses who have been hit by the sudden shift away from foot traffic, we’ve launched an emergency waiver on fees charged to restaurants and stores that have yet to sign up for our platform. - Additionally, our [Civic Labs]( team is here to enable restaurants with excess food to donate to local shelters or agencies. I will continue to keep you updated on everything we are doing to keep the platform running as safely and smoothly as possible. Thank you for being a continued part of the Postmates community.
