Dear PopAds Advertiser, It has been a very busy summer at PopAds so far and we have the pleasure of announcing some new features: Conversion tracking Finally! We now offer tracking pixel and S2S conversion postback. Your conversions will automatically show in your PopAds reports with calculated revenue, profit and ROI. To get your tracking pixel (or S2S postback), you will need to go to campaigns, click on the campaign name and click on the Conversion tracking button on the right. Prefetching We have rolled out a very unique and interesting feature that allows reduction of the volume of lost traffic and also improves conversions. A huge problem for popup/popunder advertising is slow loading landingpages(or just users having slow internet connection). To counter that, you can now enable Prefetching option which will instruct visitor browser to preload your landingpage while our system does adserving work(fraud filtering, counting etc.). This way, once we redirect the visitor to your landing page, it will already be partially downloaded in the worst case or fully downloaded and ready in the best case(which means your landing page is displayed immediately after we redirect the visitor to you). Yet, there are certain incompatibilities of this feature, mostly related to trackers. You can read more about it in our [Knowledge Base (Prefetching)] --------------------------------------------------------------- AdBlock and results of our AdBlock campaign test We are slowly reaching 2M sold AdBlock impressions a day and we have not even sent a newsletter to our publishers yet asking them to install our Anti-Adblock Adcode. It is expected to grow to 5M+ once we do that (which is happening today). You can learn more about AdBlock traffic in our [Knowledge Base (AdBlock)]. We noticed that people tend to be scared of AdBlock traffic, think that only advanced users use AdBlock who won't fall for popup offers. We have decided to test it out with a fairly unique idea. Let's look from perspective of the user. You are using AdBlock so you are getting very few ads. Yet, sometimes you still get them and it would be cool to do something to get rid of ALL the ads, right? And here we come with a solution - "Your AdBlock is outdated! Download free upgrade to block all ads!". Wondering if anyone falls for this? We ran a test campaign with PopAds traffic. After delivering 100k worldwide impressions to a rather poorly designed and not optimized landing page we got... 1600 clicks on the download button. That is 1.6% CTR, roughly 1:60 ratio. Again, that is a very first attempt - no WebsiteID optimization, no landing page optimization. As we have a very small team, we have decided to give you both the landing page as well as campaign settings we used. Take it for a spin, monetize, improve, it is yours. Campaign settings: URL: [ (you can copy this landing page, we do not mind :) ) Adblock: AdBlock traffic only Prefetching: enabled (we hosted the landingpage on CDN without any trackers/counters) Countries: worldwide(yet that depends on PPI offer you are promoting) Bid: 0.0005 (which was OK, as we were buying worldwide traffic; depends on country) Warnings: - Using trackers is usually a bad idea for AdBlock traffic, as tracker URLs can be blocked! - PopAds Conversion tracking will work only as S2S / Postback. Tracking pixel WILL NOT work as it will be blocked by AdBlock. - You will need a PPI offer and that's something we cannot help you with, sorry! --------------------------------------------------------------- XML Feeds We are now able to sell traffic via XML feeds. Due to technical constrains, we have very few seats available. However, if you can offer us XML feed with high bid, clean ads and good coverage, feel free to contact us with details. We require at least $1000 USD a day of sold traffic via the feed. Best regards, Tomasz Klekot PopAds.net Our records indicate you have requested receipt of this newsletter. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
