AI is on the march, looking to seep into all aspects of life - and creative software doesn't seem to have escaped. [We've been playing with it.]( Why does it matter? Photoshop is a byword for making a fake image, but that's now got so much easier. What's my take? Generative AI is all the rage at the moment. The language models like Bard and ChatGTP have gained notoriety, but it's the imaging capabilities that are of interest to Photoshop. Instead of just editing the image, blending and creating elements to create something new, you can now tell Photoshop's integrated AI what you want, rather than having to use the traditional tools. It gives power to those less familiar with Photoshop, but also creates a new dynamic: where does this AI vision come from and will it be unique to you, or common across all images using the same search terms?
