[Facebook]([Twitter]([Instagram]( [Website](  Is your iPhone constantly asking for your Apple ID? You're not alone POCKET-LINT What's happened? If you find that your [iPhone is asking you for your Apple ID password]( a lot more than it used to, don't panic - you aren't being hacked. You aren't alone, neither. Something's amiss, and people are reporting that they too are being forced to enter their Apple ID password more often than they should. Why does it matter? People have been reporting that they've been asked to enter their Apple ID password over and over for a little while now and there doesn't seem to be any particularly obvious reason as to why that might be. What's my take? This has been happening to us here at Pocket-lint too, with seemingly incessant requests to re-enter our Apple ID password just to be able to continue to use iCloud. However, you don't have to worry about hackers - it looks like it's a device level bug rather than anything malicious. And, while Apple is yet to comment on the problem, it is something that's likely to be fixed with a software update. It's safe to say that - more than any other period in smartphone history - the past 2-3 years have seen smaller, more incremental updates. The gaps between new phone generations and the previous models are shrinking. And it's not just the flagships, the same is true in the mid-range market too. Visually, there's quite a big difference between the A54 and its predecessor, so that's something. It also has brighter, better display, but does it move the needle enough, or is this just a makeover for a pretty average mid-ranger? Our quick verdict The Galaxy A54 has a big, bright screen and a big battery, making it a great every-day device, although one which - on balance - seems more expensive than it should be.
