[Facebook]([Twitter]([Instagram]( [Website](  The iPhone 15 could go eSIM-only in the UK and other European countries POCKET-LINT What's happened? It is claimed that Apple will [ditch the physical SIM card in Europe]( when it launches the iPhone 15 later this year - opting for eSIM network access only. Why does it matter? Already the case in the US, with the iPhone 14 series being eSIM-only in the country, it's said that France will follow. And, if that happens, it's unlikely Apple will want to make different iPhone 15 variants for sale across Europe and the UK. What's my take? It does make sense for Apple to look to an eSIM-only future for its yearly iPhone refreshes - and even more sense that it will look to unify production for its devices regardless of region. However, there's one thing that could put a kibosh on its plans, at least for the iPhone 15 series - some networks don't yet offer eSIM connectivity. And, considering they collectively sell a tonne of iPhones, will Apple really want to risk alienating an existing, decently-sized base of potential customers who might want to upgrade? So, maybe this is in the pipeline for an eventual switchover, but I feel it might not happen until the iPhone 16, at least.  Twitter's For You page will soon only recommend verified accounts, Elon Musk says POCKET-LINT What's happened? Elon Musk, the owner and CEO of Twitter, [has announced that the company is making big changes]( to the way its For You page is going to work in the near future. Why does it matter? From 15 April, the For You page will only see promoted content from "verified" accounts. That will mean tweets from people who don't pay for Twitter Blue will no longer be recommended in the feed. What's my take? Yet another section of Twitter is soon to be caged behind a paywall. And, considering those who have actually been legitimately verified over the years will very soon lose their blue tick unless they pay, your For You feed will invariably end up filled with tweets from unverified subscribers. That being said, who needs or reads the For You feed anyway?  Sonos Era 100 review: Move over Sonos One POCKET-LINT What's happened? Having launched alongside the Sonos Era 300, the smaller Era 100 is a direct replacement for the fantastic Sonos One. It bumps up the price, changes up the design and introduces some great new features, but it still has some big shoes to fill. Our quick verdict The Sonos Era 100 genuinely represents a new era for Sonos speakers. It takes the company's excellent entry-level option and gives it a makeover, both internally and externally. There is so much to love about it that we can definitely forgive Sonos for replacing the excellent One.
